Why isn’t my class in the list when I create a package or discount code

When you create a class package, you can choose which classes the package will apply to. This allows you to include some classes in your package and exclude others. For example if you have a special workshop or retreat coming up, you may wish to exclude this from the regular packages people buy. You can do so by selecting only the appropriate classes as below:

However, you may sometimes notice that a class you have created is not included in the list. There are two reasons for this:

The same applies when you choose which classes a discount code works on.

The class is marked as paid on site only. As packages are purchased with an online payment, only classes that can be paid for online will work with packages
The class is free. As the class is free, no payment is required, including credits from class packages.

How clients purchase packages

Your clients can purchase their preferred packages in two ways: at checkout once they have selected a class or via the package widget on your website.

At Checkout

Please see below for an example of what your client will see when they register for a class and arrive at checkout. We will always offer any package options you have available that are appropriate for this class. If any are missing, this is likely because you have not linked the package to the class the client is trying to register for, or they have credits remaining in an existing package and must use those first.

Via the Package tab on the Calendar Widget on Your Website

Once you integrate the ClassFit calendar to your website, there is a tab for Package. Your clients can purchase your packages directly from here.

Manually add, edit, cancel or pause a package

Go to Clients on the left side menu and click the client’s name. Open the Packages tab.

Adding a package

Click Add package. Choose Recurring or Non-recurring, then the package name. You will see the package details so you can confirm it is the right one. Click Add package.

Adding a package does not take payment. The client is not charged and is not asked to pay. You are giving them the credits. If you want the client to pay, do not add it here. They buy it themselves at class checkout or from the Package tab on your calendar widget. If you added a package by mistake and want the client to buy it, edit it and remove the unused credits, or cancel it. A client with unused credits in a pack is not offered that pack to buy again.

Editing, pausing or cancelling a package

Click the pencil icon on the package. You can change the expiry or renewal date, the number of credits left, and the status (Active, Paused, Cancelled). If you pause a recurring package, you can set the date it restarts. Click Save and check the page after it refreshes.
