Recurring classes will allow you to create your schedule for just one week, and then ClassFit will recreate them for you each week after that.

Making your class recur

Once you create your class, you will be asked if this is for a single class only or you want this to recur.

Select the days of the week you would like this class to recur. All classes will recur at the same time as the original. Then select the period for which you would like these classes to recur.  This can be indefinitely or you can enter a custom date.

You decide how far ahead your recurring classes appear to clients, using the How far ahead can clients book (days) setting on the class. There is no limit on this, so it can be 7 days, 30 days, 90 days, 180 days, or whatever suits you.

ClassFit also creates each class two weeks beyond that window. Those extra classes are visible to you only, so you can make any edits you need before the class goes live to your clients.

My recurring classes are not showing in future months

There are a few reasons this happens. Work down the list.

  1. The recur period had an end date. When you set the class up you chose either indefinitely or a custom end date. If you set a date, the series stops there. Edit the class to extend it.
  2. The set was paused. A pause set for a period will resume on its own once the period ends. A pause set to indefinitely cancels the upcoming classes and stops new ones being created. You can unpause a set again from the same three dots menu on the class. See Pausing recurring classes.
  3. The set was cancelled. If the class was cancelled and the option to cancel all future classes was chosen, the rest of the series is removed and no new ones are created. You will need to set the class up again.
  4. Clients cannot see that far ahead yet. Each class has a How far ahead can clients book (days) setting, 60 days by default. If that is set low, the classes exist but your clients will not see them yet. See Choosing when clients can make bookings.

How to check what happened
Go to the Activity page. Every action on your account is recorded there, including cancellations and pauses, and you can filter by class name or show admin activity only. See How can I track my account and client activity?
