Some clients may prefer to book classes in blocks or recurring sessions to save time. While this might be convenient, it also increases the risk of booking errors.

Why is this feature limited?

If a client accidentally books the wrong class, they may not notice until later, leading to disputes over charges. This issue can be even more problematic if the class was set to recur, resulting in charges for classes the client never intended to book.

To reduce the likelihood of such errors, ClassFit currently offers block and recurring bookings only when we are confident that the risk of client error is minimal.

How can a client book a whole package of classes at once?

Use a course or a standing reservation. Both have auto-enrol built in. Block booking is not possible without one of them.

A course can be linked to a set number of specific classes, for example six or ten. Once the client buys the course, they are booked into all the appropriate classes.

A standing reservation works in a similar way, but on an ongoing basis. It suits someone who always comes to the same class, for example the Friday 6pm class.

Sometimes plans change, and you can no longer make it to a class you’ve registered for. In this article, we’ll explain whether or not you can get a refund in different scenarios.

Finding Your Studio’s Refund Policy

When a studio or class organizer creates a class, they also set a refund policy. You can find the studio’s refund policy within the class details on any platform you book on—examples are shown below.

Refund Policy Types

Studios can choose from the following refund policies:

No refunds

Refund if replaced

100% refund if the student drops out before:

48 hours

24 hours

12 hours

6 hours

3 hours

1 hour

What About If the Studio Cancels the Class?

If a studio cancels a class, you will automatically be eligible for a 100% refund.

Refund Process

If you drop out of a class and are eligible for a refund based on the studio’s policy, the refund will be processed automatically:

Paying with a membership or class pack: Your class credit will be refunded to your account immediately.

Paying electronically: Your refund will be automatically processed, but it may take 3-5 days for Stripe to complete the refund.

Paying offline: If you paid for a class outside of ClassFit, you will need to contact your studio directly to discuss refund options.

We know that your clients are important to you, and that you need their information at your fingertips.

We know that your clients are important to you, and that you need their information at your fingertips. To help you with this, we have created a contact database.

Adding contacts

Once you’re logged in to our website, click Clients on the left side menu. This will take you to your contact database. Whenever a client joins one of your classes, we will automatically add them to your contact database. If you are joining ClassFit, you may also wish to add a pre-existing client list. You can do this one at a time, or upload an entire list at once.

To upload a single contact, click on Add Client. Choose Add Single Client. Then insert your client’s first name, last name and email address in the popup. Then, if this information is all correct, click “Add”.

If you have a large number of clients to add to your contact database, you may prefer the bulk upload function. Click on Add Client, then choose Add Multiple Clients. Then click the “Browse” button to find your client database on your computer. To work properly your client database should be a .CSV file and have each client’s email address, first name, and last name in columns A, B and C respectively.

Whether you add your clients to the contact database one at a time or in bulk, we will send each of them an email, letting them know that you are now taking bookings via ClassFit.
