Creating a participant account is the exactly same process as creating a client account. We have created a knowledgebase tutorial on how to create an account here.
However, what we find is that some clients are resistant to change. This can especially be true if they are less tech-savvy and had previously been used to you doing all the booking and admin for them. But as you’ve most likely switched to ClassFit to reduce your admin, it’s important that you overcome this dependency.
There are two things that we recommend to help you overcome this problem:
Let each person book in the “old way” once, or for a set transition period. Ask the group after class if they have all set themselves up with an account on ClassFit or through your calendar integration on your website. If anyone says no, spend some time with them after class making sure they set up their account and know how to book. This may save you a lot of time in the long run.
If this is where you want people to sign up, our tutorial on how to sign up on ClassFit might not be right for you. If you are able to, create a tutorial which includes steps from your homepage through to registration and signing up for a class. This could be done with free screen capture software such as OBS which can be found here or with simple screenshots.
