General

Find the answers to all of your questions about setting up classes on ClassFit.

ClassFit is a free all in one solution for the management of your classes. Once you set up a class, you can make it recur, advertise it, invite your customers and manage bookings, waitlists and payments.

For now, ClassFit will be limited to physical classes such as yoga, Pilates, general fitness etc.

Your time is important, and the less of it you spend doing admin, the better. We manage all of this for you automatically, taking care of your bookings, and managing your waitlist within seconds. We’ll keep your classes full and your admin pile empty.

Yes – ClassFit has been designed to seamlessly integrate into your existing website so your customers can book directly with you. For a tutorial on how to do this please click here.

Refund if replaced, is one option the class organizer can choose. This will be up to you. We recommend our ‘refund if replaced’ option. We like to think this is really simple, and really ‘human’. What this means is that if someone drops out, they will be refunded if someone else takes their place. If this isn't for you, we also offer more traditional options which you can customize to suit your needs, including no refunds, partial refunds, and full refunds which you can offer to customers who drop out 1, 3, 6, 12, 24 or 48 hours before the start of your class.

If ‘refund if replaced’ is chosen, when a client signs up and drops out, they will be refunded only if their place is taken by someone else. This is to incentivize clients to not wait until the last minute to drop out when they are difficult to replace. Once replaced they will receive a refund less the transaction fee of 5%.

Pricing And Electronic Payments

Here are some of our most frequently asked questions regarding pricing and payments.

ClassFit is free to use for both the class organizer and customer. There is only a cost if you choose to use electronic payments. We do recommend this as it will reduce your dropout rates and also makes life easier for you and your customers; however, you are perfectly welcome to take cash payments too. If you do take electronic payments, we charge a flat 2% fee of each transaction and cap this at $100 per month or a near equivalent in your country. For more details please see our pricing page.

This is completely up to you. We do recommend electronic payments to reduce both your admin, and your dropout rates. If your clients have financially committed to attending, they are less likely to drop out; and that last minute drink after work will seem less attractive. Beyond this it will save you collecting and registering payments at the end of the class, giving out change, or even worse chasing those clients who always seem to forget their wallet!

Yes, we use Stripe which is one of the world's largest secure third party payment providers.

When registering you will provide your bank details. The money will then be debited straight into your account – it’s as simple as that!

Participant Questions

Have a question about how to use ClassFit as a participant? Find the answers you’re looking for here.

ClassFit allows you to easily book classes with a single account. Much like other bookings for restaurants, gigs etc. ClassFit manages the booking process to make it seamless, notifying you when your favourite classes are scheduled or when there is a dropout in a fully booked class.

Not only that but you will also be able to join and drop out of classes with one click.

This will depend on the rules your instructor sets. If they allow this, simply drop out and we will action a refund. It’s possible your refund may depend on you being replaced to promote dropping out earlier rather than later. Either way, if a refund is appropriate, it will be actioned by the day of the class.

Absolutely. You can choose to receive email notifications, or push notifications via our app. These will be sent out two weeks prior to the class and you can even sign up to the class with a single click on our app push notification.

If a class is full you can join the waitlist. If space becomes available, it will be offered to the waitlist in the order that people joined. If they decline or don’t respond, the next person will be informed immediately. The head start each person gets over the next will get shorter as the class gets closer to ensure the best chance of a full class.
